Former Regis Soccer Star Tara Kirkpatrick Earns NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship
Indianapolis, Ind.: Former Regis soccer star Tara Kirkpatrick was awarded one of 29 postgraduate scholarships from the NCAA. The 29 scholarships were awarded to outstanding student-athletes competing in women’s cross country, women’s soccer and women’s volleyball. The scholarships are awarded to student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically.
Kirkpatrick has done just that, she has a posted a perfect 4.0 grade point average in biology and was named first team all-conference all four years as defender on the Ranger soccer squad. She was also named NSCAA First Team All-Midwest Region based on her performance on the field. She was selected as a First Team Academic All-RMAC selection this past fall, while also being named to the Daktronics All-Midwest second team. In her four years as starting defender, she guided the Rangers to a 56-29-5 record.

Regis Women's Soccer Ink Four to National Letters of Intent
Denver, Colo.: Regis University head women’s soccer coach J.B. Belzer has announced that four high school seniors have signed with RU to continue their academic and athletic careers. Belzer announced that Jordan Miller, Rosie Campbell, Alli Dandurand, and Kari Taylor signed their National Letter of Intent on the first day that student-athletes can sign.
Miller, a 5-9 forward from Santa Fe, N.M., captained St. Michael’s High School to the 2007 New Mexico State Championship. She finished her impressive career with173 career goals and 105 career assists making her the all-time leader in goals and assists in the state of New Mexico. Miller is a five-time first-team all-district selection and named four times district player of the year. She also earned First-Team All-State five times.
