After a four-year hiatus the Regis University Athletics Hall of Fame will be inducting a class in 2013. We are inviting all who know of a worthy athlete, coach or team to nominate.

Ranger Women’s Cross Country Earns USTFCCCA Division II All-Academic Team Accolades
New Orleans, La.: The Regis women’s cross country team was one of six schools in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference to make it onto the USTFCCCA Division II All-Academic Team lists with a 3.60 accumulative team grade point average.

Women’s Cross Country Places Two on USTFCCCA 2011 Division II All-Academic Team
New Orleans, La.: Two Ranger women cross country members were named to the USTFCCCA 2011 Division II All-Academic team on Wednesday, February 8th. Junior Caitlin O’Brien and sophomore Lauren Policky were both given the honors for their performances in athletics and academics.

Vargas Leads Rangers to 6th Place Finish in NCAA Central Region Cross Country Championships
The Ranger women’s cross country team placed 6th with 231 points in the NCAA Division II Central Region Cross Country Championships. The race was hosted by Metro State in Washington, Park in Denver, Colo. The women competed with 21 teams and 145 total runners, ending with a total team run time of 2:05.30.

Rangers to Compete in NCAA Regional Meet Saturday, November 5th
Denver, Colo.: The Ranger men’s and women’s cross country teams will compete in the RMAC Regional Meet hosted by Metro State at Washington Park in Denver, Colo. on Saturday, November 5th. The women will run at 11:00 AM and the men will run at 12:00 PM.

Lauren Policky Named to All-RMAC Third Team
Colorado Springs, Colo: Sophomore Lauren Policky was named to the All-RMAC Third Team for her performance during the 2011 season. The 5-5 native of Salida, Colo. has run in four races this season, finishing in the top 30 runners in three races.

Policky Leads Rangers to 5th Place Finish in RMAC Cross Country Championships
The Rangers ran for an overall team time of 2:02.07 placing 5th out of 13 teams in the RMAC Cross Country Championships hosted by Regis University. The race took place at the Willis Case golf course in Denver, Colo.

Rangers Place 7th in Disney Cross Country Classic
On Saturday, the Rangers competed in Orlando, Fla. in the Disney Cross Country Classic and at Metro State’s Invite in Denver, Colo. The women placed 7th out of 28 teams in the Disney Cross Country Classic after having six runners compete.

The Ranger women's cross country team placed fourth out of 10 teams in the Rocky Mountain Shootout hosted by University of Colorado on October 1st. The Rangers ran for a total time of 2:10.00.

Regis University ranked 50th amongst all NCAA Division II schools by the NCSA, an athletic recruiting website.

Rangers Place Second in Colorado College Invitational
The women’s cross country team placed second in the Colorado College Invitation in Colorado Springs, Colo. this Saturday. The Rangers had 12 runners competing in the 6K race and the race itself contained 54 total runners.

Regis Rangers Women’s Cross Country Team Place 4th in Joe I. Vigil Open
The Regis Rangers women’s cross country teams journeyed to Alamosa, Colorado today to compete at the Joe I. Vigil Open. The Ranger’s had 21 total runners competing including seven men and 14 women.

Men and Women in Service of Others
Student athletes got to work midday on Sunday, August, 28th at Rocky Mountain Park in Denver, Colo. Athletes, coaches, and athletic department members showed up ready to help out the community park in any way possible.
