2010:

• Burst onto the scene as a true freshman in 2010
• Ran in all seven events
• Finished 11th or better in four of the seven races
• Finished eighth at the Metro State Invite in a time of 23:20.0
• Had an 11th place finish, out of 107 runners, at the UC-San Diego Triton Classic in a time of 23:36.5
• Ran her season-low six-kilometer race at the RMAC Championships in a time of 22:12.0, an average of 5:57 per mile

Salida High School:

• A 2010 graduate of Salida High School in Salida, Colo.
• Earned 15 letters in volleyball (1), cross country (3), swimming (4), track (4), and soccer (3)
• Ran her personal best of 19:18 at the TCA invite
• Holds the cross country record
• Also has nine swimming records and is the school record holder in the mile run
• Named All-State twice in cross country
• Placed in the top 15 at the state meet all three years
• Was also named All-State in both swimming and track
• Helped cross country team to runner-up finish in 2008 and third place finish in 2009

Personal:

• Daughter of Greg and Deonne Policky
• Has one older brother
• Lauren's cousin, Chad Greenway, plays linebacker for the Minnesota Vikings
• Career ambition is to teach K-5 children in an inner-city school district then travel to a third world country through Peace Corps and teach English
