#25 Regis Volleyball Puts it to Johnson & Wales in Straight Sets

Denver, Colo.: The 25th-ranked Regis University volleyball team had one more tuneup before the Premier Challenge this weekend; it went the ladies way as they won in straight sets, 16-11-8 to improve to 5-0 on the young season.

Regis hit .341 for the game and limited another opponent below .000 at -.093 for Johnson & Wales (1-5).  Regis had yet another balanced offensive attack with senior Lyz Kann and freshman Jessica Wojcik registering seven kills.  Right behind them was senior Kyndell Highland and sophomore Lauren Flanagan totaling six each.

The RMAC leader in blocks, Kann, had four more tonight, while junior Makayla Higgins had three.

Regis will now prepare to take on Florida Southern on Friday at 3:30 p.m. and then do battle with the four-time defending national champions from Concordia-St. Paul at 7:00 p.m.
