Regis Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer, and Volleyball all Ranked in the Top 25

Denver, Colo.: Regis University men's soccer, women's soccer and volleyball teams are amongst the elite of the elite after the first weekend of action.  For the first time in at least a decade all three teams are ranked in their respective top 25 polls.

Only two other teams in the country, Rollins and Northern Kentucky, are currently ranked in the top 25 in all three of these polls.

The three teams combined to go 8-0 overall.

The men's soccer team moved up six spots from 18th to 12th in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) top 25 poll following a 3-1 victory over the University of Mary and a 3-0 decision over Upper Iowa on Sunday.  The men will host Sioux Falls on Sunday in their only game of the week.

Volleyball cracked the top 25 at #25 following a perfect 4-0 record at the St. Mary's Tournament in San Antonio, Texas.  They defeated East Central, Abilene Christian on Friday and Pace and Illinois-Springfield on Saturday by identical 3-0 scores.  The Rangers were last ranked last season in the fourth poll, in which they were also ranked 25th.  Regis hosts the Premier Challenge this Friday and Saturday with Regis taking on Florida Southern and #1-ranked Concordia-St. Paul on Friday night at 7:00 pm.

Women's Soccer went 2-0 with victories over Minnesota-Duluth, 3-1, and Concordia-St. Paul, 5-0.  The Rangers actually dropped from 22nd to 25th in the NSCAA poll but will have a great chance of moving up this week as they take on 12th-ranked Winona State (Minn.) on Friday and 21st-ranked Minnesota State-Mankato on Sunday.
