Rangers Outhit #15 West Florida but Fall in Three Sets

Denver, Colo.: The Regis Ranger volleyball team outhit 15th ranked West Florida .195 to .190 but was unable to get past the Argos, falling 3-0.  The Rangers, now 2-3 on the season, got a combined 25 kills from juniors Jessica Howe and Kerry Grady.

Grady had 10 kills and just two errors for a .421 hitting percentage to pace the team.  Howe had another solid game with 15 kills on 42 swings.  Sophomore Cassidee Young led the Rangers with 10 digs but Regis had 16 less digs than West Florida (4-3) did.

Sophomore Lyz Kann had a game-high four blocks while junior Devin Eckhardt had three and had a game-high 36 assists herself.

Regis turns right around and hosts Southwest Minnesota State tonight at 7:30.  Regis and SWMS played less than a week ago with the Mustangs winning in straight sets.
