Denver, Colo.: The Regis Ranger volleyball team returns to action tomorrow as they co-host the prestigous Colorado Premier Challenge with Metro State.  Regis gets underway at 3:30 p.m. on Friday against 15th ranked West Florida at the Regis Fieldhouse.  Regis will try and get revenge from 8th ranked Southwest Minnesota State at 7:30 p.m.  Regis and SWMS played less than a week ago at the Augustana/SpringHill Suites Invitational in Sioux Falls, S.D. where SWMS prevailed in three sets.

Regis will host two courts on Friday with six games while on Saturday they host just one court with four games.  Metro State has two courts on both days with three games on Friday and four on Saturday.

The field at this year's tournament is the who's who of Division II collegiate volleyball.  The two-time defending national champions Concordia-St. Paul (Minn.) and current #1 team in the nation headlines the teams.  Nine of the 12 teams participating are ranked in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Top 25 and one more is receiving votes.  Three other teams, besides CSP, are ranked in the Top 10; West Texas A&M, 3rd, SWMS, 8th, and University of Tampa, 9th.

The coaches in the Premier are some of the most successful coaches in the country.  The 12 coaches are a combined 2,757-1,045 for a 72.5 winning percentage.  The teams last season were a combined 315-88 for a 78.2 winning percentage.
