Ranger Volleyball Can't Find Touch in 3-0 Loss to #19 Lewis University

Denver, Colo.: The Regis volleyball team has one of the toughest non-conference schedules in the country and it didn't get any easier for them as they took on #19 Lewis University.  The Flyers (4-3) got 17 kills from Stephanie Sagat to dispatch of the Rangers (2-5) in straight sets.

In their first seven games Regis has played five teams that have been ranked 22nd or higher in the AVCA Division II Poll.

Junior Jessica Howe again hit double figures with 13 kills.  Sophomore Lyz Kann again had another solid game with eight kills combining with Howe for 21 of the Rangers 38 kills.  Defensively Regis again were led by sophomore Cassidee Young's 11 digs.  Freshman Katie Hudencial set her career-high with nine.

Regis will play their final game of the 2009 Colorado Premier Challenge this afternoon at 2:30 with the opponent still to be determined.
