Rangers lose tough match against Lopers
Denver, Colo.: The Rangers faced a tough test against the
University of Nebraska-Kearney on Saturday night. In game one the
Rangers jumped out to an early lead and won the game 30-20. UNK
would come back to win the next three games as the RU would fall
16-30, 25-30, 23-30.
In game one Regis was solid as they finished with a .333 hitting
percentage. But struggled in the next three games with hitting
percentages of .028, .051 and .022.
Junior Liz Franz (Littleton, Colo.) finished the match with 11
kills and a .562 hitting percentage. Freshmen Devin Eckhardt
finished the match with 43 assists.
The loss drops the Rangers record to 4-8 overall and 2-2 in the
RMAC. Regis will be on the road next week as they take on Colorado
Christian on Friday, September 21st at 7:00 pm.
