Regis Volleyball Falls to 0-3 in Coyote Classic

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif.: The Rangers lost both of their matches today at the Coyote Classic. RU was swept earlier this morning by #3 Cal State San Bernardino, 26-30, 24-30, 18-30, followed by a 3-2 loss to SMSU,25-30,27-30,30-19,30-15,15-7.

In the loss to CSUSB, Meghan Meehan (So., Huntington Beach, Calif.) put up 18 kills (18k-4e-36a)and had a .389 hitting percentage. Hannah Tautolo (Jr. Moreno Valley, Calif.) had the match-high 14 digs.

In the match against SMSU, RU had two players in the double-digits with kills. Both Meehan and Sarah Keiter (Fr., Arvada,Colo.) put up 13 kills (13k-6e-43a). Tautolo again had the match-high 21 digs.

Liz Franz (Jr., Littleton, Colo.) had 9 kills and a .318 hitting percentage (9k-2e-22a).

RU will look to put up its first win tomorrow when they take on Cal State Dominguez Hill at 10AM.
