Rangers sweep weekend with win over CCU
Denver, Colo.: Regis swept CCU in three straight sets 30-20,
30-21, 30-17. The win puts the Rangers over .500 in the RMAC with
10-13 overall and 8-7 in the RMAC.
The Rangers had two players in the double digits with kills as
Meghan Meehan (So., Huntington Beach, Calif.) posted 14 and Melissa
Piazza (Fr., Lake Forest, Ill.) had 12 and a .308 hitting
percentage.
Liz Franz (Jr., Littleton, Colo.) had a .412 hitting percentage and
nine kills.
The Rangers as a whole had a .274 hitting percentage compared to
CCU's .025.
Next up the Rangers will travel to Kearney to take on the Lopers on
October 26 at 7p.m.
