Regis wins hard fought battle against Adams State

Denver, Colo.: The Rangers beat the Adams State Grizzlies 3-2 tonight at the Regis Fieldhouse. The win puts Regis at 7-10 overall, 5-4 in the RMAC. The loss will drop Adams State to 7-9 overall, 3-5 in the RMAC.

Three Rangers were in the double digits for kills. Meghan Meehan (So., Huntington Beach, Calif.) and Jessica Howe (Fr., Pueblo, Colo.)both had 18 kills and Howe had a hitting percentage of .464. Liz Franz (Jr., Littleton, Colo.) had 15 kills.

The Rangers had 81 kills as a team compared to the 57 kills by the Grizzlies.

Devin Eckhardt (Fr. LaSalle, Colo.) recorded 63 assists.

The Rangers next game will be at New Mexico Highlands on Friday, October 5th at 7p.m.
