Mark Forbes is entering his sixth year as an assistant to Regis Women's Soccer in 2011-12.  

Forbes currently coaches the U18 Colorado Edge club team, the University of Colorado Gold club team, and the U6 Shooting Stars.  He has 20 years of coaching experience within north area clubs including Colorado Edge, Colorado Xtreme, and the Colorado Storm.  

An athlete himself, Forbes played club in Colorado and collegiate soccer at Regis as the keeper and graduated from Regis in 1992 before going on to play for a number of different professional indoor soccer teams.

He holds a USSF 'A' License and a USSF National Goalkeeper License.

He currently lives in Arvada, Colo. with his wife Stephanie and three children, Patrick, Jocelyn, and Mia.  His hobbies include drag racing and spending time with his kids.

Forbes' full-time job is in the Regis University Physical Plant as the assistant director for performance.
