Rangers Succumb 4-0 to BYU-Hawaii in Season Opener

Honolulu, Hawaii: Nicole Eddings, sophomore Ranger goalkeeper, tallied five saves in Regis' first competition of the season against BYU-Hawaii, but the team was unable to walk away with the victory. Regis eventually fell 4-0 to the Seasiders in Honolulu, Hawaii on Thurs. 

The Seasiders scored their first goal of the game three minutes in when Emily Mearns scored her first of three in the game. The last goal was scored with 22 minutes remaining by Britt Edman.

Both teams attempted three corner kicks as Regis tallied two shots on goal. Sophomore Marissa Davis, RMAC Preseason Player of the Year, had one shot on goal along with senior Danielle Lardner.  

The Rangers will face Hawai'i Pacific University in their next matchup on Sat., Aug. 28th at Hawai'i Pacific.
