Ranger Women's Soccer Tabbed 23rd in Preseason NSCAA Poll

Denver, Colo.:  Heading in to the 2009 season, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) has ranked Regis 23rd in their preseason women's soccer poll.  The Rangers return 10 starters including RMAC Freshman of the Year Jordan Miller and all-region defender senior Heidi Boersma helping the Rangers to a 17-7 overall record.

Coming off a season where the Rangers ended up second in the RMAC before finishing their season in the NCAA Division II Central Regional Championship game.

RMAC opponent Metro State is ranked third while Seattle Pacific is picked to repeat after winning the 2008 NCAA Div. II National Championship.  Regis will play host to Minnesota State-Mankato who is ranked 15th after a 16-4-2 record in 2008.
