Rangers Score 2 Goals Within Four Minutes to Grasp 2-0 Victory Over Eastern New Mexico University

Denver, Colo.: Jordan Miller scored the Rangers first goal at the 37:38 mark just four minutes before Heather Thomas scored goal number two in Regis' 2-0 defeat over Eastern New Mexico on Sunday.

Much of the first half of Regis' matchup against ENMU was a battle for posession as the ball found the cleats of both teams often. At the 7:57 mark, there were just ten shots total, eight by Regis and two by the Zias, and one shot on goal by ENMU. From the 27:04 mark to the 37:03 mark, neither team got one shot off.

Shortly after the 37:03 mark, Regis scored the first goal of the game (37:38). The Rangers got the ball into the Zias box before fumbling it around and getting it into the feet of Chelsea Bokan. Bokan then assisted Miller on goal number one.

Goal number two was scored a short four minutes later when Heather Thomas was served by Kalley Mahaffey on the second and final goal of the game.

Regis will face Winona State in their next matchup on Sept. 4th at home. Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m.
