Rangers Place Four on NSCAA All-Central Region Teams

Denver, Colo.: After finishing the season 14-5-4, the Rangers placed four players on the NSCAA Division II All-Central Region Teams. Freshman Marissa Davis, sophomore Jordan Miller, and seniors Chelsea Reichard and Heidi Boersma all received honors.

As a freshman, Davis scored ten goals for the Rangers, the second best mark on the team, while tallying eight assists to total for 28 points this season. With these numbers, she was named to the NSCAA All-Central Region First team this season. Davis played in 21 of Regis' 23 games while starting 20 in her first season.

Named to the second team were sophomore Jordan Miller and senior Chelsea Reichard. Miller, who played and started in all of the Rangers 23 games, scored 14 goals this season while assisting on 13. She totaled for 41 points while having a .512 SOG percentage (43-84). Reichard, a senior midfielder, has scored ten goals in her career, eight of which came this season. She played and started in all 23 games this season and tallied 16 points.

Boersma, named to the All-Central Region Second Team last season, was named to third team this season. A strong defender for the Rangers, Boersma played and started in 19 games this season. She tallied one point on the season with one assist while helping lead Regis to nine shutouts by keeping their opponenets out of Ranger turf.
