Rangers Chosen to Finish Second in the RMAC Preseason Poll

Colorado Springs, Colo.: The Regis women's soccer team was chosen to finish second overall in the RMAC Preseason Poll as announced by the conference Tuesday.  Senior Heidi Boersma was named the Preseason Defensive Player of the Year.  Joining Boersma on the Preseason All-RMAC Team was sophomore Jordan Miller.

Finishing just ahead of Regis in the preseason poll was Metro State with nine first place votes. Behind the Rangers are Colorado Mines and Fort Lewis who tied for third, Mesa State in fifth, CSU-Pueblo in sixth, UCCS in seventh, New Mexico Highlands in eighth, Colorado Christian in ninth, Nebraska-Kearney, a first season program, in tenth, and Adams State in eleventh.

Tabbed as the RMAC Preseason Player of the Year was senior Becca Mays from Metro State.
