Rangers Earn Second Seed in RMAC Tournament; Games to be Broadcast on Internet


Denver, Colo.: The Regis University women's soccer team are riding an eight-game winning streak and have earned the second seed in this weekend's RMAC tournament.  The Rangers are 14-5 overall and finished with an 11-2 RMAC record.  Their 11 wins in conference action are the most since the 2001 team went 11-0-1.

The Rangers will face #3 Colorado Mines who defeated #6 Mesa State 2-1 in overtime on Wednesday afternoon.  The game will take place on the campus of Metro State, Friday, Nov. 7, with kickoff set for 1:30 PM.

Regis is now ranked third in the most recent NSCAA Central Region poll just behind Winona State (Minn.) and RMAC regular season champion Metro State.
