Rangers Head to NCAA Tournament for the First Time Since 2005
Denver, Colo.: The Regis University Ranger women's soccer team will take on Northern Sun Conference opponent Augustana College on Friday afternoon in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Rangers who are 15-6 overall finished the RMAC regular season second and was narrowly defeated by Metro State in last weekend's RMAC Championship Match.
The match will take place in Winona, Minn., where the #2 seed in the Central Region Winona State, will await the winner. Regis and Augustana have not met on the soccer pitch in their histories, while earlier in the season the Warriors of Winona State defeated the Rangers 2-1 in overtime in Winona.
