Rangers Win Third Straight 3-0 Shutout with Win Over Colorado Mines in the RMAC Semifinals; Metro State up Next

Denver, Colo.: The Regis Ranger women's soccer team scored their first goal just 46 seconds into the match on their way to a 3-0 victory over Colorado Mines in the semifinals of the RMAC tournament.  It marked the third straight game that the Rangers have won 3-0 and are currently riding a nine-match winning streak.

RMAC Freshman of the Year, Jordan Miller, dribbled down the left side of the field and went past two defenders to score her 16th goal of the season before the fans were even warm in their seats.  First Team All-RMAC forward, senior Carter Cornett, followed Miller nearly 26 minutes later with her 24th goal of the season to put Regis ahead 2-0 on a chilly, windy day.

Freshman Emilie Eisman finished off the first half beating Mines keeper Briana Schulze far side, assisted by Lexi Tagen and Cassie Cornett.

Freshman goalkeeper Rosie Campbell continued her hot play with her third consecutive shutout saving four shots and running her record to 7-3 on the season.

Regis (15-5) outshot the Orediggers (12-5-3) 13-10 and with their three goals today tied the Regis school record for most goals in one season with 67.

The Rangers will now take on Metro State for the RMAC Championship on Sunday at 12:00 PM on the Auraria Campus.
