Jordan Miller Scores Two Goals in Rangers' 3-0 Victory Over Mesa State

Grand Junction, Colo.: Freshman Jordan Miller scored two of the Rangers' three goals Friday afternoon in Regis' 3-0 victory over the Mesa State Mavericks in Grand Junction.

Miller's first goal came at the 16:13 mark when her previous shot rebounded back to her for another shot and the goal. Cornett scored just over two minutes later to increase the Rangers' lead to two when she was assisted by her sister Cassie Cornett on a breakaway.

The last goal of the game occured seven minutes and 33 seconds into the second half when Miller struck again. Junior Lexi Tagen assisted Miller on the play.

Neither team scored again leaving the score at 3-0 in favor of Regis.

The Rangers will face Fort Lewis College Sunday afternoon in Durango. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m.
