Rangers Stay Undefeated in RMAC with 2-0 Win Over Colorado Christian
Lakewood, Colo: The Rangers stay undefeated in conference action with a 2-0 defeat over Colorado Christian Sunday afternoon in Lakewood.
After fighting for field position during the first half and entering the second period scoreless, Senior Carter Cornett scored after six minutes and 30 seconds of play to give Regis a 1-0 lead. Junior Katie Turco assisted on the play. Just under two minutes later, junior Lexi Tagen scored on an assist from freshman Jordan Miller and Cornett to put the Rangers up 2-0.
Cornett now has eight goals on the season in just six games.
The Rangers outshot the Cougars 16 to seven with seven of the shots being on goal.
Next, Regis will face Adams State in Alamosa at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19th.
