Miller Scores Two in Rangers' 3-0 Victory Over Carson Newman
Denver, Colo.: Jordan Miller scored two goals
in the Rangers’ 3-0 win over Carson-Newman College Friday
afternoon.
After fighting for field position for about 19 minutes, freshman
forward Jordan Miller scored the first goal of the game on an
assist from Heidi Chandler giving Regis a 1-0 lead. It
wouldn’t be long before Miller struck again. At the 26:46
mark, Shawnee Wood assisted Miller widening the gap by two.
Regis led 2-0 until Emilie Eisman scored with just under seven and
a half minutes left in the game. She was assisted by Kalley
Mahaffey on the play. Eisman’s goal was the last of the game
resulting in a Ranger 3-0 victory.
Regis plays next on Sunday Sept. 28 against Lynn University at the
Regis Match Pitch. Kickoff is set for 11:00 a.m.
