Durango, Colo.: The Rangers dominated the Skyhawks to notch their seventh win of the season 11-3. RU didn't allow Fort Lewis to score in the first half and out-shot FLC 28-11.
Erin Todd got the scoring started for Regis (7-3, 4-1 RMAC) just under three minutes in before Fort Lewis (5-5, 2-2 RMAC) tied the score five minutes later. The Ranger offense was stymied a little in the first half, scoring just five goals and led at halftime 5-3.
The halftime talk worked as the Rangers came out a blazing both offensively and defensively and outscored FLC 6-0. Gianna Lombardi was clutch in goal again allowing just the three goals while making six saves.
Todd led the offense with four goals and one assist. Emily Behr had three draw controls to pace the Rangers while also grabbing four ground balls. Maddie Garcia led the Rangers in that category with five. Danica Cutshall led the defense with four caused turnovers.
The Rangers have a short turnaround as they play Adams State in Alamosa on Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
