Junior Erin Flynn Earns Final WILA Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week Award

Alamosa, Colo.: Junior defender Erin Flynn was instrumental in the Rangers upset victory over then #2 Rollins last Sunday and for her efforts she was awarded the WILA Defensive Player of the Week.

On Sunday, she claimed five groundballs and caused three turnovers including two crucial ones late in the game.  On Friday, she gathered in one groundball and caused two turnovers.

For the season, Flynn has grabbed 16 groundballs and caused 13 turnovers in 15 games played.  The Rangers finished their season at 9-8 and were runners-up in the WILA with a 6-2 record.
