Associate Athletic Director Ann Martin Tabbed as Next Regis Athletic Director
Regis University President Fr. Michael Sheeran, S.J. announced the hiring of Ann Martin as the next director of athletics. Martin replaces longtime Regis Athletic Director Barbara Schroeder who will be retiring in June. Martin has been on the Regis athletic administration staff since 2005.

The final game in a Regis uniform for senior Brittany Farniok couldn't have gone any better as she notched a combined shutout in a 17-0 white-washing of Fort Lewis. Farniok, the all-time leader in career wins at Regis, played the first half in goal and the second half at midfield.

The Regis Rangers and Colorado College have had a lot of close battles over the past four years and today's women's lacrosse battle was no different. The score was tied seven times throughout the game but when the final buzzer went off the Tigers had the upper hand at 12-11.

The Regis Rangers women's lacrosse team found their offensive stride in a 17-5 victory over Lees-McRae. Four separate players scored three goals apiece to break the Rangers early season three-game skid.

The Rangers ran into a buzzsaw as they fell to Pfeiffer 16-5 in NCAA women's lacrosse action. Pfeiffer scored eight of the first nine goals to improve to 4-1 overall dropping Regis to 0-3.

Emily Kuipers Named RMAC Player of the Week
Senior Emily Kuipers was named the East Division RMAC Player of the Week the conference announced Monday. Kuipers recorded two consecutive double-doubles this past weekend as Regis defeated Abilene Christian University on Jan. 2nd (60-54) and Central State on Jan. 3rd (70-57).

Regis Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Co-Hosts 1st Annual Gatorade Pong Tournament
On October 22nd, the Regis University Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) teamed up with CHOICES and SIC to host the first ever Gatorade Pong Tournament. With cooperative weather, great team costumes, a delicious BBQ and lots of swag, the tournament was an overall hit.

Rangers Fall for the First Time This Season with 60-51 Loss to Fort Hays State
The Rangers fell in their first game this season to Fort Hays State on Saturday with a 60-51 loss to the Tigers in Golden. In Regis' final game of the Mines Thanksgiving Classic Salina Kuiper and Tae'lor Purdy both scored in double digits.
