Rangers Fall to Rollins College 18-12 in Women's Lacrosse
Winter Park, Fla.: The Regis women's lacrosse team had their three-game winning streak snapped as they fell to Rollins College 18-12.
Regis (5-2) was outshot 47-27 in the game but made the most of their shots as they connected on 44.4 percent of their shots compared to just 38.3 percent for Rollins (7-2). Three Rangers scored three goals each, senior Julia Ostberg, sophomore Kelsi Goings and freshman Kate Liddle. It was Liddle's sixth game of the season where she has scored three goals or more, while Ostberg has four and Goings three such games.
Sophomore Cristina Johnson paced the Rangers with eight ground balls, while freshman Morgan Taylor led Regis with two caused turnovers.
Regis will do battle with in-state rival Fort Lewis on Friday, April 3rd in Durango with game time set for 2:00 PM.
