Season Comes to and End for Regis Women's Golf at NCAA Central Region Tournament

Elephant Butte, N.M.: Junior Lara Pocs shot an 80 in the final round of the NCAA Central Region Tournament held at Sierra del Rio Golf Course (72-5292).  Freshman Nicole Hulbert carded an 86 in the third round.

Pocs followed an 85 and 88 with her 80 to finish in a tie for 22nd with a three-round score of 253.  Hulbert was two strokes behind Pocs at 255 and tied for 24th following rounds of 85 and two 88s in her first NCAA Tournament.

The Rangers just missed making it as a team as they finished 10th in the region with the top nine teams making it to the 54-hole event.  Regis loses one senior, Alex Semanko, who was a two-time All-RMAC honoree.
