Sophomore Alex Semanko Earns RMAC Women's Golfer of the Week

Colorado Springs, Colo.: Sophomore Alex Semanko was named the RMAC Women's Golfer of the Week for her efforts in the Colorado Christian/Regis/Mesa State triangular.

Semanko, from Boise, Idaho, won the triangular with a 5-over 76 at the Rangers home course Fox Hollow in Lakewood, Colo.  The 76 carded by Semanko is a new career-low in her two seasons as a Ranger golfer, besting her previous low by two strokes. 

Semanko helped the Rangers, who are still ranked 12th in the central region, to a second place finish at the triangular and will lead the Rangers to the RMAC Championships that begin on Monday morning in Goodyear, Ariz.
