Ranger Women's Golf Opens up Spring Season with Sixth Place Finish at Mustang Invitational

Albuquerque, N.M.: The Regis women's golf team opened their spring season in an eight-team field at the Western New Mexico University Mustang Invitational at the University of New Mexico Championship Course (par 72-5802).  Regis finished in sixth place with a combined 709 score.

Lubbock Christian took home the team title with a 641 total.

Freshman Lara Pocs paced the Rangers tying for 13th place with a 169 (85-84).  She was followed by sophomore Alex Semanko's 176, good for 25th place overall.  Junior Emily Einfeldt came in for a tie for 31st after rounds of 95 and 86 for a total of 181.  Sophomore Haley Robinson and junior Kacee Harris finished up the scoring for Regis with 184 and 191 respectively.

Regis will travel to Grand Junction, Colo. to compete in the Maverick Spring Invite on Monday and Tuesday, April 5-6 at the Golf Club at Redlands Mesa.
