Rangers Finish Second in Fort Hays State Invitational with Freshman Lara Pocs Finishing Fourth Overall

Hays, Kan.: The Rangers finished second at the Fort Hays State Women's Invitational on Sept. 28th and 29th at the Smoky Hill Country Club in Hays, Kan. Regis had an overall team score of 713 with a 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 12th place finish. Winning the Invitational was the Fort Hays State Tigers who had an overall team score of 699.

Finishing in second place for the Rangers was freshman Lara Pocs who shot an 89 in the first round and an 82 in the second one to total for 171. Ahead of Pocs was FHSU's Kiley Johansen (1st, 157), UNK's Sara Wissing (2nd, 168), and FHSU's Samantha Nielsen (3rd, 170).

Coming in fifth, sixth, seventh, and 12th was sophomore Haley Robinson (178), sophomore Alex Semanko (181), junior Emily Einfeldt (183), and junior Kacee Harris (195). 

Regis will host the Regis Invitational on Oct. 5th and 6th at the Fox Hollow Golf Course which will be the third RMAC Invitational of the season.
