Ranger Women's Golf in Second Place After First Round of Adams State Invitational
Alamosa, Colo.: Regis University Women's Golf Head Coach Paula Bauer is very optimistic about her 2009-10 women's golf team. Her optimism showed today as the Rangers had one of their best rounds ever, in the first round of the Adams State Invitational. Regis is in 2nd place after shooting a combined 329.
Freshman Lara Pocs covered the par 71, 5,836 yard Cattails Golf Course in just 77 shots (+6, 38-39). She is in a tie for third place after day one, with teammate, sophomore Alex Semanko in a tie for sixth place after carding an 81 (+10, 39-42). Junior Emily Einfeldt shot an 83 (+12, 41-42) to forge a tie for 12th place.
Sophomore Haley Robinson shot an 88 (+17, 42-46) and junior Kacee Harris carded a 93 (+22, 46-47) to place tied for 26th and tied for 34th respectively.
The final round will get underway tomorrow morning in Alamosa.
