Rangers Finish RMAC Women's Golf Championships in Eighth Place; Freshman Alex Semanko Named Tournament MVP
The Regis Ranger women's golf team completed their season today finishing in eighth place at the RMAC Championships at the Sundance Golf Club. Regis finished with a team score of 729 behind team champion Upper Iowa who had a 630. Freshman Alex Semanko was named RMAC Tournament MVP finishing in a tie for fourth.

The Regis women's golf team is currently in eighth place after the first round of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships at the Sundance Golf Club (72-5828). Regis has a team aggregate score of 361 trailing Upper Iowa who has a 318 team score.

The Ranger women's golf team finished with their best score of the 2008-09 season shooting a two-round aggregate score of 696 to finish third at the Maverick Invite at the Golf Club at Redlands Mesa (72-6452).

Rangers Place Third Place in Own Invitational; Alex Semanko Finishes Fifth Overall
The Ranger women's golf team competed in their own invitational on Monday and Tuesday and after the 36-hole tournament, that took place at Fox Hollow Golf Course (72, 6295), the Rangers sat in third place. Their 721 total was behind team champion Mesa State's 687 and Adams State's 698.

Ranger Women's Golf Third at Ranger Invite with a 367 after Round 1
The Ranger Invite round 1 finished with the Regis women in third place with a combined 367. The Rangers trail Mesa State (343) and Adams State (357) for the team lead. The tournament will finish up tomorrow at Fox Hollow Golf Course (72, 6295) in Lakewood.

Ranger Women's Golf Finishes Fall Season with a Ninth Place Finish at RMAC Event #3
The Ranger women's golf team finished their fall portion of their 2008-09 schedule at the RMAC Event #3 held at the Applewood Golf Course (Par 71, 5,981 Yards). Regis finished with a combined 729 over two rounds with sophomore Emily Einfeldt the top placer for Regis coming in a tie for 15th carding a 169 (+27).

Emily Einfeldt's 80 Leads the Rangers in the First Day of the RMAC Event #3
Sophomore Emily Einfeldt carded a 9-over 80 to lead the Ranger women's golf team to eighth place after the first round of the RMAC Event #3 held at Applewood Golf Course (Par 71-5,981 Yards). Einfeldt is just three strokes off the lead held by Mesa State's Jennifer Hilts.

Ranger Women's Golf Finishes Third in Own Invite
The Regis University women's golf team competed in the Regis Invite held at Fox Hollow G.C. Regis finished third in the four-team tournament in which Fort Hays State took the team title. Fort Hays finished with a team total of 665 followed by Adams State with a two-round score of 673. The Rangers were next shooting 706, followed by Colorado Christian's 736.

Regis Women's Golf Ends Day One of Quality Inn Maverick Invite in Ninth Place
The first day of the Quality Inn Maverick Invite is in the books and Regis University sits in ninth place. The meet, also labeled as RMAC Event #2, is one of four meets that all 10 RMAC golf teams are participating in. Regis as a team shot a 368 compared to Fort Hays State who shot a 331 to lead by two strokes over Western New Mexico.

The Regis women's golf team started the 2008 fall season finishing third in the six-team Grizzly Invitational at Cattails Golf Course in Alamosa. The Rangers, who were picked sixth in the RMAC preseason poll finished with a two-day total of 701.
