Rangers Finish RMAC Women's Golf Championships in Eighth Place; Freshman Alex Semanko Named Tournament MVP

Buckeye, Ariz.: The Regis Ranger women's golf team completed their season today finishing in eighth place at the RMAC Championships at the Sundance Golf Club (72-5828).  Regis finished with a team score of 729 behind team champion Upper Iowa who had a 630. Freshman Alex Semanko was named RMAC Tournament MVP finishing in a tie for fourth.  Fort Hays State won the RMAC Championship title with a 669, finishing second overall.

Semanko's 162 (82-80) paced the Rangers.  Her second round 80 established a new career-low for Semanko.  Fellow freshman Haley Robinson finished in 30th place with an overall score of 177, which included a 92 in the second round.  Sophomore Emily Einfeldt carded a 185 (91-94).

Sophomore Kacee Harris and senior Natalie Blackburn shot 107 and 102 in the second round and a 210 and 215 overall respectively.
