Women’s Basketball Drops 59-50 to Orediggers

Golden, Colo.:  The Ranger women dropped an RMAC Conference game 59-50 to the Orediggers of Colorado School of Mines. 

The Rangers hit on 30.8 from field goal range along with 68.4 from the free throw line.

Forwards Tae'lor Purdy and Sarah Feeney led the women with double figure points on the night.  Purdy was good for 19 point in her 6-of-13 performance from the field and 3-of-7 performance from long distance.  She also hit on 4-of-5 from the charity stripe.  She led the Rangers with seven rebounds.

Feeney put up 11 for the women going 4-for-11 from the field and 3-of-4 from the free throw line.  She also pulled down five rebounds with three other Rangers. 

The women will play UC-Colorado Springs at 5:30 PM on Friday, January 13th in Colorado Springs and at CSU-Pueblo at 5:30 PM on Saturday, January 14th.
