Rangers Place Three on All-RMAC Teams; Lauren Luebbe Receives Second Team Honors

Denver, Colo.: After completing the 2010-11 season 10-16, 9-13 RMAC, the Rangers placed three players on the RMAC All-conference teams. Senior Lauren Luebbe was named to the second team while seniors Meagan Nickell and Salina Kuiper were named to the third team. 

Luebbe played and started in all 26 games and led the team in scoring with 11.3 points per game. She averaged 4.1 boards per game which was the third best mark on the team. Her 41.3 three-point field goal percentage ranks her third among others in the RMAC, and with 46 steals, 1.8 per game, she is tied for 11th in the conference.  

Receiving third team honors, Nickell averaged 10.1 points per game and pulled down 2.8 rebounds per game. She led the team in three-point field goals made with 38 and had a 31.4 shooting percentage from long range. 

Second in the RMAC for blocked shots is Salina Kuiper. She blocked 42 shots this season for a 1.6 per game average and received All-RMAC third team honors. She was also second in the RMAC for free throw percentage as she shot 84.1 (53-63) from the charity stripe. Kuiper averaged 9.7 points per game.
