Lauren Luebbe Named RMAC Defensive Player of the Week

Colorado Springs, Colo.: Senior forward Lauren Luebbe was named the RMAC Defensive Player of the Week the conference announced Monday. Luebbe is averaging 10.8 points per game, and 5.3 rebounds per game, 20 of 32 of which have been defensive.

This past weekend, the Rangers traveled to New Mexico where they faced Western N.M. on Friday and N.M. Highlands on Saturday. Between both games, Luebbe pulled down a combined 20 rebounds, 15 of which were defensive. Ten of these defensive boards she grabbed against WNMU where she also snagged six of seven steals for the weekend.

Luebbe scored 12 points in both games and sank 7-of-14 field goals.
