Seniors Ashley Pope and Emily Kuipers Named to RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll Team

Colorado Springs, Colo.: Seniors Ashley Pope and Emily Kuipers were both named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll Team the conference announced Monday. Pope holds a 3.58 in Health and Exercise Science while Kuipers has a 3.48 in Elementary Education.

This season, Pope has appeared in all 17 of the Rangers' games starting in four of them. She has the third highest mark on the team with 28 assists while also snagging 18 steals, the second best mark on the team.

Kuipers has played and started in all 17 games this season averaging 10.1 ppg. She has pulled down 107 rebounds so far this season for an average of 6.3 which places her third on the team. Kuipers has also sank 27 shots from deep for a three-point field goal percentage of .409 (27-66).

To be placed on one of the RMAC All-Academic Teams, an individual must hold a GPA of 3.30 or better, be a starter or reserve on their team, and have completed two consecutive semesters at their current institution.
