Rangers Place 20th on WBCA Top 25 Honor Roll
Becoming the tenth team coached by Linda Raunig to finish in the Womens Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Top 25 Honor Roll since 1997-98, the 2008-09 Ranger squad placed 20th in NCAA Division II with a 3.412 GPA.

Regis University Women's Basketball Adds Eight Players to Roster for 2009-10 Season
After competing in the RMAC Tournament for the 11th straight year, the Rangers are adding eight new players for the 2009-10 season. Meagan Nickell, Erin OToole, Taelor Purdy, Salina Kuiper, Kara Larson, Kellie Deremo, Meghan Hollenga, and Kaitie Vader will all be joining Regis squad next season.

Rangers 73-59 Fall to Colorado Mines Ends Season After First Round of RMAC Tournament
After a 73-59 fall to Colorado School of Mines on Tuesday evening in Golden, Colo., the Rangers' season has come to an end. With that, four players' collegiate careers ended after four years. Seniors Paulina Tuell, Jenny Vieira, Courtney Ault, and Kammy Martindale all played their last game on Tuesday.

The Regis Ranger women's basketball team earned the #6 seed in the upcoming RMAC Tournament. Regis finished the regular season with a 14-13 record including an 11-8 RMAC mark. The Rangers will oppose Colorado Mines, the #3 seed, on Tuesday, March 3rd in Golden at 7 PM.

Rangers Grab Second Win in a Row in 92-73 Defeat Over Colorado Christian
The Rangers grasped their second victory in as many games after defeating Colorado Christian 92-72 Friday evening at the Regis Fieldhouse. The game started after Regis welcomed Colorado Christian with pink wristbands that were to be worn by members of both teams. These wristbands were representative of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Pink Zone which began on Feb. 13th to raise breast cancer awareness.

Senior guard Courtney Ault scored a personal career high 25 total points in the game beating her previous career high by five points.

A total of 55 fouls were shared between Regis (1-5) and Northwest Nazarene (5-2) in the Rangers' 81-85 fall to the Crusaders Friday evening in Denver. The Rangers had 29 personal fouls and shot 34 free throws while Northwest Nazarene had 26 personal fouls and took a total of 40 free throw attempts.

A few nights after only shooting 5-27 from behind the arc against Minnesota State Moorhead, the Rangers hit on 11 three-pointers in just 20 attempts.

Ranger Women's Basketball Picked Fifth in the RMAC Preseason Poll; Senior Paulina Tuell Named to East Division All-Conference Team
The 2008-09 RMAC preseason poll and all-conference teams were released yesterday. The Regis Rangers, coming off a 14-14 season in 2007-08, was selected third in the East Division and fifth overall. Fort Lewis is picked to win the conference after going 26-4 and winning the regular season title last season.
