Ranger Women's Basketball Earns #6 Seed in Upcoming RMAC Tournament
Colorado Springs, Colo.: The Regis Ranger women's basketball team earned the #6 seed in the upcoming RMAC Tournament. Regis finished the regular season with a 14-13 record including an 11-8 RMAC mark. The Rangers will oppose Colorado Mines, the #3 seed, on Tuesday, March 3rd in Golden at 7 PM.
Mines, who is 17-10 overall, tied Nebraska-Kearney for the second best mark in the leauge at 14-5, but because of tie-breaker rules, Nebraska-Kearney earns the #2 seed. Fort Lewis is the top seed in the tournament with a 25-2 overall record and an 18-1 league mark.
Regis and Colorado Mines split their two meetings this season. The Orediggers took the first game 87-75 in Golden on Jan. 30th. Regis defeated Mines in a no-doubter 86-58 two weeks ago at the Regis Fieldhouse.
