Ranger Junior Catcher Mo McDaniel Named to ESPN The Magazine Academic All-Central Region Second Team

Denver, Colo.: The postseason accolades keep coming in for the Ranger softball team. This time junior catcher Mo McDaniel was named to the ESPN The Magazine All-District VII Academic Second Team.

McDaniel, from Fort Collins, Colo., sports a perfect 4.00 GPA in Mathematics. McDaniel also earned Second Team Academic All-RMAC earlier this season. She helped lead the Rangers to a 31-25 record including a #5 seed in the RMAC tournament.

McDaniel batted .237 this season starting 34 games including 22 as designated player. She tied for third on the team with four homeruns while driving in 22. McDaniel had seven multi-RBI games, also third best on the team. McDaniel also spent some time behind the plate where she had no errors on the season.
