Ranger Harriers Compete at Ultra-Competitive UC-Riverside Open
Riverside, Calif.: The Regis University men's and women's cross country teams took part in the ultra-competitive UC-Riverside Invite this weekend. The men's team was unable to fill out all five spots needed for a team score, while the women finished 25th in the varsity and fifth in the junior varsity race.
Competing against many NCAA Division I teams and some of the top runners in the west was an exciting and rewarding challenge for Regis.
Junior Matthew Drake was the top runner for Regis finishing the 8 kilometer race in a time of 27:35.8. Senior Side White finished 12 spots later in a time of 27:45.8, while freshman John Brooks covered the landscape in 30:54.0.
