Regis Women Finish 11th at National Catholic Invitational
South Bend, Ind.: The Regis men's and women's cross country teams took part in the National Catholic Inviational held on the campus of Notre Dame University. The men's team fielded only three runners so they did not have a team score, however the women's team finished 11th out of 35 teams.
Junior Amy Smith again led the way for the Rangers finishing in 24th place with a time of 18:54. Freshman Samantha Comerci was next for the Rangers finishing in a time of 19:47 good for 71st place.
The Regis men's three runners were led by sophomore Matthew Drake who had a time of 28:15 to finish in 123rd place. Juniors Sid White and Adrian Martinez finished in 165th and 221st place respectively with times of 29:02 and 30:45. Two other runners, Andrew Scott and Shawn Van Hoose started the race but did not finish.
