Chris Sharpe comes to Regis University for his first year as an assistant coach from Westminster, Colo. where he is currently the Director for the Core Goalkeeper Academy, Colorado Rapids Academy, and the Colorado Force W-League.  He was also a part of the International Goalkeeper Academy in a coaching roll from 2000 to 2003.

He currently is playing with the Colorado Rapids in the MLS.  In the past he has played for Koge BoldKlub in the Danish Division I (2007), Viborg FF in the Danish Super Liga (2005-07), Chesterfield FC inthe English League One (2004-05), Parramatta Power in the Australian National League (2003-04), Northern Spirit in the Australian National League (2002-03), Southampton FC in the English Premier League (2000-02), and Blackburn Rovers FC in the English Premier League (1998-2000).

While playing club, Sharpe has acquired many national team honors.  In 2003-04, he was recognized on the Australian U-23 Olympic Games Squad.  In 2000-01, he earned a spot on the Australian U-20 team
