Adam Buseck joins the Ranger men's soccer coaching staff in 2010 after spending three seasons in the same role at the University of Denver.  Buseck’s primary role with the Rangers will be to work with the goalkeepers on a daily basis, in addition to assisting with other aspects of the program.Buseck will also be the Recruiting coordinator for Men's Soccer.

While with the Pioneers, Buseck helped the 2008 men’s soccer team to their first ever Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championship and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1970.  In each of his three seasons working with the goalkeepers at DU, Buseck’s goalkeepers earned first-team all conference honors.
 
Buseck came to Denver after serving three seasons as head coach at Laramie County Community College (LCCC) in Cheyenne, WY.  After taking over the post on Jan. 24, 2004, Buseck led the Golden Eagles to back-to-back National Junior College Athletics Association (NJCAA) Region IX Championships in 2005 and 2006.

Prior to becoming head coach at LCCC, Buseck served as an assistant coach, beginning in the
team’s inaugural season in 2002 under legendary Wyoming high school coach Kosta Tsandes.

Buseck began his collegiate coaching career in 1997 as an assistant at Drake University, his alma mater, and took over as interim head coach in the spring of 1998.  As a player Buseck was a four-year starter on Drake’s soccer team and still holds a number of the all-time goalkeeping records at Drake.  After college Buseck pursued a professional career as goalkeeper with the semi-professional Des Moines Menace for four seasons and for the Minnesota Thunder (now known as NSC Minnesota) for two seasons.
 
Buseck holds a bachelor’s degree from Drake University and a master’s degree from the University of Wyoming. He and his wife, Rebecca, have two daughters, Nora (4) and Adelaide (1).
