Regis Men’s Soccer’s Chris Couperus earns RMAC Defensive Player of the Week
Colorado Springs, Colo.: Regis University freshman goalie Chris Couperus earned RMAC Defensive Player of the Week this week. Couperus is a native of Ft. Collins, Colo. and a transfer from Southern Connecticut State University.
The Rangers had two contests this past week against University of Mary and Upper Iowa University. On Friday, against the Marauders of Mary, the men won 3-1. In 79:13 minutes of total play, Couperus had three saves and allowed only one goal off a penalty kick for the Rangers.
The Rangers will play Sioux Falls at home on Sunday the 11th at 10:00 AM.
