Emge Garners NSCAA Scholar All-America Second Team Accolades
Colorado Springs, Colo.: Senior forward Kyle Emge was named to the 2011 NSCAA Collegiate Men's Scholar All-America Second Team today for his performance on the field and in the classroom throughout the 2011-12 season.

Men’s Soccer Places Emge and Buhler on Men’s Scholar-All-West Region First Team
Colorado Springs, Colo.: Senior forwards Kyle Emge and Ben Buhler were named to the 2011 College Division Men’s Scholar-All-West Region First Team today for their performances on the field and in the classroom through the 2011-12 season.

Men’s Soccer Places Three on NSCAA All-Central Region Team; Emge to First
Dec. 9th, 2011: The National Soccer Coaches Association of America named three Ranger men’s soccer athletes to the All-Central Region Teams. Forward Kyle Emge was given First Team honors, while defender Taylor Diem and midfielder Stephen Reed were given Second Team accolades.

Senior forward Kyle Emge and junior defender Taylor Diem were named to the Daktronics All-Central Region First Team this week for their performances throughout the season. Senior forward Ben Buhler and junior midfielder Stephen Reed were named to the Second Team.

Nov. 8th, 2011: The Ranger men’s soccer team ranked 23rd on the NSCAA/Continental Tire national rankings today. The men finished regular season with a 13-3-1 overall record and an 9-3-1 RMAC Conference record.

Ben Sabados Named to RMAC All-Tournament Team
Senior goalkeeper Ben Sabados was named to the 2011 RMAC All-Tournament Team for his performance in the semifinal match against Metro State. The Rangers fell to the Roadrunners 1-0.

#2 Seed Regis Men's Soccer Falls to Cross-Town Rival Metro State 1-0 at RMAC Tournament
Regis and Metro State had met twice in the year and each won on the others field but this time it was a neutral site and unfortunately the 13th-ranked Rangers fell to #21 Metro State 1-0 in the semifinals of the RMAC Tournament.

Regis Soccer Teams Look to Win RMAC Championships; Women Host RMAC Tournament
The Ranger men and women’s soccer teams will both be playing in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament this weekend. After the teams immense performances throughout regular season play, both teams are ranked 2nd in the region. The men jumped up one spot this week, while the women vaulted from fifth.

The Ranger men’s soccer program shot up to the 13th spot on the NSCAA National Coaches Poll after ranking 22nd last week. The Rangers regular season ended well with an overall record of 13-3-1 and an RMAC Conference record 9-3-1, tabbing them with a #2 seed for the Conference tournament.

Spring Overcomes Injury to Propel Rangers to a 1-0 Shutout over Mavericks
The Ranger men’s soccer program outscored the Mavericks of Colorado Mesa University today in the RMAC Conference match. The Rangers scored the 86th minute of play to secure the win after having 22 shots, 11 of which were on goal, on the day.

Six separate Rangers scored against the Cougars of Colorado Christian University today to guarantee the RMAC Conference win. The men’s soccer team scored five goals in the first half alone to start the day, and one in the second to finish it.

The men’s soccer RMAC Conference match tomorrow, Friday, October 28th against the Colorado Christian University Cougars has been moved to be played in Golden, Colo. at Colorado School of Mines. The game against CCU will still take place at 2:30 PM.

Junior midfielder Patrick Freeman earned a spot on the CollegeSoccer360.com Primetime Performer’s Honor Roll. He scored two goals and tallied one assist in the team’s victories last week.

The Ranger men’s soccer team tallied a 3-2 victory over the nationally ranked #23 Orediggers of Colorado Mines today. Seven seniors were honored before the RMAC Conference match for their dedication and commitment to the program. Of the three Ranger goals scored on the day, all of them were shot by seniors.

Regis University Men's Soccer Teams with Global Down Syndrome in Dare to Play Soccer; Aurora News8 Highlights Camps
The Regis University men's soccer team has been involved in the Dare to Play Soccer this fall and it has been a resounding success for both the Regis student-athletes but more importantly for the athletes that have down syndrome.

The Ranger men’s soccer program dropped an RMAC Conference match to the nationally ranked #1 Fort Lewis Skyhawks today in Durango, Colo. The Skyhawks put four goals in on the Rangers to obtain the win.

Rangers Overcome ThunderWolves 1-0 in Double Overtime
The Rangers put of 24 shots, eight of which were on goal in the match at Colorado State University Pueblo. The men took the match into double overtime, scoring in the 106th minute of play to conclude the RMAC Conference match.

The Ranger men’s soccer program notched a win on their belts today after an RMAC Conference match hosted by Metro State. The Roadrunners went up 2-1 on the Rangers early in the second half, but the Rangers prevailed in the end edging two more goals on the Runners propelling them to a 3-2 victory.

The Rangers used their hunger for goals today to fuel themselves to a 5-0 victory over RMAC Conference opponents Adams State College Grizzlies. 182 loyal fans came out to the Regis Match Pitch on this cold Sunday to cheer their Rangers on to a win. The men’s high intensity level from the beginning led them to two goals in the first half and three in the second.

The Regis Ranger men’s soccer program triumphed 4-0 over the Colorado Mesa University Mavericks. Four separate men scored one goal each for the Rangers, while the team had eight shots on goal and five assists.

Goalkeeper Chris Couperus Named RMAC Defensive Player of the Week
Freshman goalkeeper Chris Couperus was named RMAC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season. The 6-1 native of Ft. Collins, Colo. made nine saves in 210 minutes played. He recorded two shutouts as the Rangers ended last week with a 1-0-1 record.

The Ranger men outscored the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs Mountain Lions 1-0 in today’s RMAC soccer match in Denver. The game brought the Ranger’s overall record to 5-2-1 and their RMAC Conference record to 2-2-1.

Regis University Will Host Family Weekend September 30th-October 2nd
The festivities for the Regis University's Family Weekend will kick off Friday, September 30th. Starting at 1:30 PM, Regis will provide a pig roast, barbeque, and beer garden for all family and friends that come to support the men's and women's soccer teams during their games. Kids will not feel left out either as there will be a jumpy castle to keep everyone entertained.

The NCAA has the Regis Rangers men’s soccer team ranked 18th in the NCAA national pre-season poll for the 2011 season. The Rangers will have 11 returners including eight starters helping them to reach the NCAA tournament for a second time.
