Associate Athletic Director Ann Martin Tabbed as Next Regis Athletic Director
Regis University President Fr. Michael Sheeran, S.J. announced the hiring of Ann Martin as the next director of athletics. Martin replaces longtime Regis Athletic Director Barbara Schroeder who will be retiring in June. Martin has been on the Regis athletic administration staff since 2005.

New Assistant Men's Soccer Coach Lee Ibrahim Looks to Get Back to His Coaching Roots
Regis head coach Tony McCall announced that Lee Ibrahim has joined the Regis men's soccer staff. The surname Ibrahim may not be known widely in this part of the country but in Division I men's soccer and especially the Atlantic Coast Conference that is a name that is held in high regard.

Regis Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Co-Hosts 1st Annual Gatorade Pong Tournament
On October 22nd, the Regis University Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) teamed up with CHOICES and SIC to host the first ever Gatorade Pong Tournament. With cooperative weather, great team costumes, a delicious BBQ and lots of swag, the tournament was an overall hit.

Nathan Kafer Named to the NSCAA All-Central Region First Team; Ryan Brennan and Gary Cole Named to Second Team
Nathan Kafer, a Third Team All-RMAC selection, was named to the NSCAA Division II All-Central Region First Team after the Rangers finished the season 9-6-4. The season came to an end on Nov. 6th when Regis fell to Fort Lewis College 6-1 in the RMAC Semifinal game.

Three Ranger Men's Soccer Student-Athletes Named to Daktronics All-Central Region Teams
Senior Ryan Brennan and junior Gary Cole today were named to the Daktronics All-Central Region First Team as selected by Sports Information Directors from the Rocky Mountain Athletic and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conferences. Junior Nathan Kafer was a second team awardee for Regis.

Ranger Men's Soccer Ends Season with 6-1 Loss to #2 Fort Lewis in RMAC Tournament Semifinals
For the second time in three seasons the Fort Lewis Skyhawks ended the Regis Ranger men's soccer season in the RMAC Semifinal. This afternoon Regis ran into a buzzsaw in nationally ranked #2 Fort Lewis, falling 6-1 to end their season at 9-6-4.

Six Regis men's soccer student-athletes were today named to the All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference teams. Junior defender Gary Cole and senior defender Ryan Brennan were each named to the first team.

Ranger Men's Soccer Finishes Regular Season in Grand Fashion with 7-0 Win Over Colorado Christian
On a beautiful sunny day in Northwest Denver, the Regis Ranger men's soccer team sent their four seniors off in grand style defeating Colorado Christian 7-0 in a makeup game from last Friday. The Rangers end their regular season with a 9-5-4 record and will face nationally #2 ranked Fort Lewis in the RMAC Tournament on Friday afternoon.

Regis Men's Soccer Falls in Close One, 1-0 to 15th-Ranked Colorado Mines
The Regis men's soccer team battled #15 Colorado Mines and went toe-to-toe with them but in the end fell 1-0 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action. Despite the loss, the Rangers locked up four-seed in the upcoming RMAC Tournament on Saturday in Durango, Colo. The Rangers will face the #1 seed and third-ranked Fort Lewis at 2:30 p.m.

Regis will be hosting it's 17th annual Winter Indoor Classic Soccer Tournament January 2nd through February 6th 2010. This tournament is for boys and girls team's ages U8/9, U10, U11, U12, U13/14, and high school.

The Regis Ranger men's soccer team was knotted at halftime with #4 ranked Fort Lewis but when the final buzzer sounded Fort Lewis defeated the pesky Rangers 3-1.

The Rangers extended their winning streak to three on Friday after defeating the Mesa State Mavericks for the second time this season 1-0 while on the road. This victory brings Regis to an RMAC record of 6-1-4, 8-3-4 overall.

Ranger Men's Soccer Team Helps "Step Up for a Down Syndrome Walk"
The Regis men's soccer team recently put in over 50 hours of community service in preparation for the "Step up for Down Syndrome Walk" that took place on September 27th. The Mile High Down Syndrome Association (MHDSA) sponsored the walk in efforts to collect money for the research of Down Syndrome.

The Regis Ranger men's soccer fans can at least say that they get their monies worth when watching. Eight Ranger Men's Soccer Student-Athletes Earn RMAC All-Academic Honors
Eight Rangers received Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference All-Academic honors the conference announced Thursday. In order to be awarded these honors, student-athletes must hold a 3.30 or higher GPA, be a starter or reserve, and have completed either two consecutive semesters or three quarters at the institution in which they are currently enrolled.

The Regis Ranger men's soccer team was unbeaten in the last six contests and today hosted #8 Fort Lewis in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference match. The two teams battled for the first 87 minutes and 20 seconds before Joe Barnd scored the winning goal for Fort Lewis in a 1-0 defeat of the Rangers.

The Regis men's soccer team is unbeaten in six straight matches after a 10-1 defeat of Colorado Christian in their highest scoring match since 2004 when the Rangers scored 13 goals also against Colorado Christian. Freshman Lio DelPiccolo picked up his first hat trick in a Regis uniform with three goals.

Regis Men's Soccer Defense Puts Clamps on UC-Colorado Springs Offense in 1-1 Tie
The Regis Ranger men's soccer team knew that their defense could keep them in the race for the RMAC title. It has done just that this weekend, after a stunning 2-1 win over 24th-ranked CSU-Pueblo on Friday, the Rangers held UC-Colorado Springs to just one goal in a 1-1 tie. Freshman Lio DelPiccolo scored the lone goal for the Rangers, two days after scoring the winning goal against CSU-Pueblo.

The Regis men's soccer team is ranked #5 in the NCAA Division II Central Region the NSCAA announced Tuesday. RMAC team Fort Lewis College is ranked first in front of #2 Metro State. Colorado Mines is ranked 3rd in front of University of Mary who defeated the Rangers on Aug. 27th 2-1.

Outshooting Northwest Nazarene 20 to nine, Regis snagged a 6-2 victory at home on Saturday. Kyle Emge and Jordan Brandel had two goals each while Lucas Mazier and Nathan Kafer each had one.

While Regis' offense was strong, as the Rangers kept the ball in Marauder turf for much of the game, their 24 shots to Mary's four was not enough. Regis fell 2-1 to Mary on Thursday in their season opener and head coach Tony McCall's first game as a Ranger.

Regis Men's Soccer Picked to Finish Fifth in RMAC Preseason Poll
