Rangers Outshoot Riverhawks 27 to 12 to Snag 2-0 Victory

Denver, Colo.: Regis scored one goal in each half of of their matchup against Northeastern State to claim a 2-0 victory over the RiverHawks. Kyle Emge scored goal number one before assisting Nathan Kafer on goal number two.

At the 9:45 mark Emge scored the first goal to put the Rangers up 1-0. He was unassisted on the play. After this goal, Regis tallied 13 shots to Northeastern's three. The Rangers held the RiverHawks to zero shots from the 17:12 mark to the 44:42 mark.

The Rangers scored their second goal at the 77:07 mark when Kafer was assisted by Emge. Up until the goal, Regis attempted ten shots while Northeastern State took just three. After the goal, the RiverHawks attempted three to the Rangers' zero.

Regis will face Midwestern State in Texas on Sept. 6. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. (CT).
